Dan Klessig: APS 2011 Noel T. Keen Awardee for Excellence in Research

Dr. Daniel Klessig

Dan Klessig is the recipient of the 2011 Noel T. Keen Award for Research Excellence in Molecular Plant Pathology from the American Phytopathological Society. Nominees have made outstanding contributions and demonstrated sustained excellence and leadership in research that significantly advanced the understanding of molecular aspects of host-pathogen interactions, plant pathogens or plant associated microbes or molecular biology of disease development or defense mechanisms. The award will be presented at the APS annual meeting in August, 2011.
