Art@BTI presents Weeds: Untamed Wonders, a collection by the Finger Lakes Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.

The natural science artists have selected their favorite weeds of the northeast to render in beautiful illustrations. Their exhibit will explain what makes a plant a “weed” and will give information on how to distinguish between local weeds and invasive plants. The collection includes 20 pieces from 15 illustrators from around the Finger Lakes.

The exhibit is free and open to the public between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm (M – F), in the atrium of Boyce Thompson Institute. Download map.

BTI will also host a reception on March 30th from 5-7pm where guests can meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and tour the greenhouse. Pre-registration available.
