Divi updated their Visual Builder on October 5th, 2017 with some essential features.

BTI Page Layouts and Templates

The BTI site uses layouts with a series of global sections, rows, and modules to ensure consistency across areas of the site. This video gives an overview for how those are organized and how to use them when creating new pages. This video assumes a basic understanding of the Divi interface and structure.

Editing the Navigation Menu

A general overview for adding, editing, and removing items from the site’s main navigation menu. BTI uses the Ubermenu plugin to extend the menu functionality and customization options.

Editing the Home Page Slider

A general overview for editing the home page slider settings and slides. BTI uses the Revoultion Slider plugin for this type of content. This is an Intermediate to Advanced task.

Hiding Pages from Search Engines

In the backend builder, in the Screen Options, make sure ‘Yoast SEO’ is checked. Then in the ACF tab, look for the Yoast SEO section, click the gear icon, and set “Meta robots index’ to ‘no index”.

Change the Author of a Post

To change the author to post to one other than yourself, simply go to the edit Post page, select the Settings tab, and use the Author dropdown menu.

If you don’t see this appearing under the settings tab, click “Screen Options” and make sure the “Author” box is checked.

Adding Events

Adding events is fairly straight forward, but you must include the date/time of the event within the description, as well as the schedule field. Otherwise, it will not show up on the event page when it is selected.
