Join BTI for a free reception to celebrate the latest Art@BTI exhibit, Juxtaposition of Light and Texture: Photography by Nancy V. Ridenour. This event will feature:

5:00pm	Welcomes, networking hour, and complementary wine reception
6:00pm	Opening video and introductions by BTI President David Stern
6:10pm	Presentation and Q&A with Nancy V. Ridenour, photographer
6:30pm	Presentation and Q&A with BTI Associate Professor Joyce Van Eck on the Physalis Improvement Project
6:45pm	Tours with Joyce Van Eck of greenhouse (space is limited, sign-up will be available at check-in), art raffle winner announced

This event is free and open to the public. Please note that space is limited and we are no longer accepting registrations. Walk-ins will be welcome (space permitting).

About Nancy V. Ridenour

Nancy spent her youth in Schenectady, NY, surrounded by a large family involved in the florist business. Flowers and gardens were central to those years, which led to a major in biology while at Cornell University. The natural science thread has been strong throughout her career as a biology teacher at Ithaca High School, in her personal life of gardening and flower arranging, and now her focus in retirement on digital artistic photography.

Ridenour retired in 2005 after 32 years of teaching and administration at Ithaca High School. In 2006, she took classes in photography and Photoshop at TC3. That experience enlightened her retirement and developed into a second career as a photographic artist. Ridenour is a member of the Ithaca Garden Club, as well as professional science teacher organizations.
