The Boyce Thompson Institute is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the inaugural round of BTI Alumni Recognition Awards as part of the new BTI Alumni Recognition Program.
The BTI Alumni Recognition Program celebrates the success of outstanding BTI Alumni and recognizes the foundation that their BTI experiences provided.
BTI Alumni Recognition Awards honor individuals and their accomplishments, particularly as they relate to research, education, or scientific communication. The alum’s achievements may be in academia, industry, or any public or private sector related to BTI’s mission. Anyone who has previously worked at the Boyce Thompson Institute, and at any level, (undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral), including former interns, researchers, professors, and students is an eligible alum.
The nomination period is now open and we are seeking candidates. Up to two awardees may be named annually, one “Early Career Alum” and one “Distinguished Career Alum.”
Nominations may be made by any BTI employee, researcher, student, emeritus professor, or member of the alumni community, (self- nominations are allowed).
Deadline for Nominations: Nominations must be submitted by February 25, 2018 to be considered in the first round of awards. Future nomination deadlines will be rolling with the selection committee meeting up to twice per year, as needed If you have any questions or experience technical difficulties, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
