Arabidopsis DEAD box RH3 Protein Functions Chloroplast rRNA Biogenesis

It was found in a previous study completed in the van Wijk lab (Zybailov et al. 2009) that the RNA DEAD box helicase RH3 was strongly upregulated in a mutated form of the ClpP/R protease. My project compares this mutated protease (named clpr2-1) and a mutant form of RH3 (rh3-4) to see if there are similarities in chloroplast protein and rRNA processing deficiencies.
