Adam is currently in his senior year at Washburn University in Topeka, KS. During his internship, Adam’s project focused on natural variation in wild tomato species as a model to understand plant-pathogen evolution. While in the lab, Adam used several techniques including phenotypic characterization, gel electrophoresis, DNA sequencing, plant infiltrations, plasmid isolation, and PCR.
