Sarah is senior at the University of California-Davis. During her internship, Sarah worked with her mentor, post-doctoral associatat Sara Zimmer on cpPAP: A Candidate Gene for Chloroplast RNA Poly(A) Polymerase in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Sarah learned techniques such as C. reinhardtii and bacterial transformation, gel electorphoresis, and western blots.
