Monday Morning Seminar: Star Gao and the GOBii Project

Please join BTI for a presentation by Star Gao (GOBii Breeding Informatics Instructor) and members of the Genomic Open-source Breeding Informatics Initiative (GOBii).
Star’s areas of expertise include project management, application of advanced marker technology and database tools in plant breeding, breeding scheme optimization, and continuous process improvement. The GOBii project is the first large-scale public-sector effort to systematically apply high-density genotypic information to the breeding of staple crops in the developing world.
