“Inside BTI’s Summer Research Experience for Undergrads” – Breaking Ground with Delanie Sickler, Caylyn Railey and Sadhvi Mohankumar
Wednesday January 19, 12pm EST
It is no secret that plant science research has enormous potential to tackle many important global issues of today and tomorrow, like mitigating climate change, reducing pollution and improving food security. To succeed, there needs to be an accessible career pathway for eager plant scientists to make the discoveries of the future, and the public needs to be made aware of the potential that plant science research holds.
BTI’s summer research experience for undergrads program works to accomplish these tasks by breaking the mold of the typical summer internship. Please join us and learn about this program from BTI’s Education & Outreach Director Delanie Sickler and two recent program participants, Caylyn Railey and Sadhvi Mohankumar.
