Aliza is currently a student at Smith College. This summer, Aliza worked in the Kochian lab with graduate student Melinda Klein on a project researching the effect of zinc on plant growth. For this project, she PCR-genotyped plants and grew Arabidopsis hydroponically to observe physiological characteristics. When not at school or work, Aliza likes dancing at Dead concerts and just being outdoors.
