Michelle is currently a student at Howard University. This summer, she worked with post-doc Kerry Pedley in the Martin lab on the disease resistance pathway of tomato to Pseudomonas syringae. More specifically, she used a yeast two-hybrid approach to find proteins that would potentially interact within the resistance gene Pto-mediated resistance pathway.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys playing the piano (or at least teacher herself how to play) and SHOPPING!
