Chris is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. This summer, Chris worked with mentor Amir Sattarzadeh on investigating myosin function in Arabidopsis via T-DNA insertion mutants and virus induced gene silencing. To accomplish this project, Chris used techniques which including gel electorphoresis, DNA extraction, fluorescence microscopy, and quantitive PCR (polyemerase chain reaction).
