Originally from nearby Homer, NY, Colin is currently a student at Bucknell University. This summer, Colin worked with mentor Liza Conrad on the Ac project. Besides using inverse PCR to amplify genes tagged by the Ac transposon, Colin also did a lot of Southern blots, PCR, DNA preps and other standard molecular biology techniques.
