Christopher is now a junior at the University of Puerto Rico- Aguadilla. During his internship, Christopher worked under the supervision of graduate student Ashley Egan to study expression patterns of photoprotective genes in diploid and tetraploid species of Glycine. While in the lab, Christopher learned and employed techniques such as Reverse Transriptase PCR, gene expression, DNA sequencing as well as bioinformatics.
