Emily is currently a student at the College of New Jersey. This summer, Emily worked with mentor Stephane Bentolila on investigating the involvement of possible genes in the control of RNA editing ofArabidopsis thaliana. To accomplish this project, Emily used techniques which including DNA and RNA extraction, genotyping, gel electrophoresis, and restriction enzyme digests.
