Michelle is a currently a student at Colgate University in New York. In the Rose lab Michelle worked under the supervision of post-doctoral associate Tal Isaacson. During her internship, Michelle studied the characterization of mutant strains in tomato which have defects in the cuticle layer. While completing her internship, Michelle several lab skills including cuticle isolation, microscopy, and bioinformatics.
